Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO world heritage site and the world’s largest unbroken caldera, with one of the highest concentrations of African Wildlife per area. Munch on packed lunch at the designated picnic spot.

After a thrilling afternoon drive (look out for the endangered Black Rhino, often spotted in the late afternoon), it’s time to head to the Serengeti National Park - cozy dome tents, hot outdoor showers and campfire chitchats.

The camp and safety briefing will set you up for three nights of safari ,camping under the stars.

The central Serengeti is known for it’s year round wildlife - it’s THE spot for first time visitors, nature buffs, critter enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates African wildlife.

Your wake up alarm could be a male lion on patrol, enough incentive to wash your face with that jug of hot water, and a spread of breakfast treats at the mess tent. The early bird catches the worm, so we recommend getting out at the crack of dawn for the best chance of some epic big cat sightings.

There’s a mid-morning pit stop and coffee break every day - perfect for some bird watching too! The morning continues seeing where the wildlife and the action leads you and your guide.

Lunchtime can mean a bush picnic on the open plains or a leisurely meal back at camp before an afternoon pursuit of elusive leopards, in addition to the remarkable abundance of antelope, zebra, giraffe, elephant, hyenas, jackals, and hopefully some big cat sightings.

Your Serengeti Safari days end with a hot outdoor bucket shower, sundowners and snacks around the camp fire- no doubt with countless tales to share. Celebrate the day, with Chef and his crew’s 3-course meal before falling to sleep under a Serengeti Sky - countless constellations, the Milky way and if you are in luck - a meteor shower or shooting stars.

Camp Life generally follows a similar daily pattern. Days start early, with sunrise and coffee, morning game drives, a chill break, a hearty lunch, an exciting afternoon safari and cozy campfire chats. Treat yourself to the hot outdoor bucket shower, cold drinks, nature & conservation discussions and scrumptious 3-course dinners.

We take care of the details, enabling you to focus on sharpening your senses, seeking your own wildlife surprises, listening for the alarm calls and the cues and calls of little critters. This will be the end last day of your 4 days Tanzania best camping safari and time to say goodbye to your BFC safari squad as you leave the Serengeti for your next adventure. There’s a wild ride back to town in the safari vehicle, departing after breakfast and cruising through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area once more.

If time allows on the journey, you could swing by the fascinating Olduvai Gorge, a rich archaeological site. It is an historic spot in Tanzania where humanity’s origins were
unearthed. There should be time for a photo stop at the Ngorongoro Crater View point.
